La Palma, CA, May 1, 2024 – La Palma Intercommunity Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a patient safety ratings organization. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is nationally recognized for its clinical excellence. In addition to exceeding standards for patient safety, the hospital was recently recognized as one of the top-performing community hospitals in the nation for the second year in a row on the 2022 Fortune/Merative “100 Top Hospitals” list.
